However, in respect of SC and ST students a relaxation of 3 years is given.<\/p>\n<p>The Vice-Chancellor of HPU Shimla has the power to permit age relaxation up to a maximum of 6 months. All such cases could provisionally be granted age relaxation up to 6 months by the Principal and a consolidated list o such cases be sent for approval of the Vice-Chancellor by 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0October of every academic year.
